Bell Biv Devoe, Now You Know

I was watching something yesterday, I can't remember what, and they mentioned Bell Biv Devoe. (probably Scrubs now that I think about it. Surprise!) Anyway, this reminded me of a really funny story. My friend Heather was at Walgreens or something waiting for a prescription to be filled. I'm guessing she had already checked her blood pressure and skimmed the covers of all of the gossip rags, because she found herself perusing the CDs over by the check-out. She pulled Bell Biv Devoe out to look at it, and as she looked up she noticed that a friend-of-a-friend from years before had walked in. They exchanged pleasantries, but hadn't seen each other in years, so it wasn't like running into your BFF while engaged in what may be considered an embarrassing pastime. She stood there talking to him as the cashier rang up her purchases and she paid, and they parted ways. She got in the car and reached into the bag, only to come out with... The Bell Biv Devoe CD. She had TOTALLY JUST PURCHASED A BELL BIV DEVOE CD IN FRONT OF SOMEONE SHE KNEW BUT DIDN'T KNOW. The only reason I know this story is because she told it to me when I made fun of her for playing it while I was riding in her car.
