Drive Me Crazy!

Still no word from grad school. Torture! On a brighter note, I just cooked up some EXCELLENT potatoes. Like I might have to go eat another bite because they are so freakin' good! I made chicken, potatoes, and a small salad. The potatoes were the best part. Sometimes when I make the chicken it's AWESOME and other times it's OKAY. Today the chicken was OKAY. May I say again that the potatoes were EXCELLENT? Today was relatively routine... I went to the drugstore on the way to work to pick up my allergy, sanity, and psoriasis meds, and picked up a coupla magazines at the same time. This months Veranda features a very minimal cover, but the inside is chock-full of way over-ornate fabrics and prints. Ugh. Not much for me to covet in that one. Maybe a tile floor for a bathroom, but that's about all. I also picked up Domino, which I only buy occasionally. Sometimes I think I want a showcase home that people want to photograph and that is considered to be ideal, but then after I peruse the magazines I realize how much I LOVE my own eclectic style. It's quirky and it's me, and it fits. I'm comfortable here. I may not have the nicest things, but I am overly fond of them all. While they were filling my scripts, I wandered the store... saw some graduation autograph hounds, which I've always wanted an autograph hound. Never gotten one. Perhaps when and if I get into grad school, you guys can chip in and purchase me an autograph hound, mail it all over the place to get it signed, and have it delivered to me right around graduation time. That'd be cool. I went on to work and later to Hospice and then home. May I take the time to tell you that it is FREAKING BOILING OUTSIDE? I'm finding it problematic to accomplish a 2 mile run without stopping to catch my breath. This may also have to do with all of the confederate jasmine and gardenia blooms all over the GDGD (GodDamn Garden District) Then as my dinner cooked I had a nice relaxing drink with my neighbor while we caught up after several weeks of not really hanging out. Good times. The End.
I don't want this autograph hound, the plainer, simpler autograph hound is the one for me. Just sayin.

So, tell us about the excellent potatoes!
"You go bear!"
GOD. I am ready for the grad school to call you already. What's their PROBLEM.
Autograph Hound...I have never seen this creature!
Please, Natalie, you're killing us. TELL US ABOUT THE POTATOES. What, were they made with white truffles and baboon marrow?
yum!
I ran at 6:00 a.m., and it was already muggy outside.
