Year 2, Day 1

Well, today was the first day of my last year of this program in school (I was recently told by a friend to NEVER, NEVER say it's your last year of school.) It's going to be a year of changes. For my internship this year, I will be working with animals and learning about pet-assisted therapy and the human-animal bond. I think it's a great opportunity to learn about an area that isn't really the first thing that comes to mind when you say Social Work. I'm looking forward to it. On a disappointing note, long distance and a lack of time has led Mystery Guest and myself to the dreaded discussion and ultimate decision that perhaps our situation is not the best situation for either of us right now. It was all very mature and adult. Which makes it smart even more! (By the way, I picked up "smart" from Archie comics) I still have the utmost respect and adoration for Mystery Guest, and am of course sad to go in separate directions. So. That's enough for now. That was hard enough for me to unleash.
